EA Cricket 07 Full Version
EA Cricket 07 The game features a number of different game modes, including a career mode, custom matches and online games. The career mode involves a user creating a player and playing matches in order for their player to progress. A users player starts at the age of 16 and has a maximum of a 20-year career. There is also a Cricket Academy program in which a user can create and edit teams, players and competitions. This was released as a stand-alone game before the console release date. The game contains the original cricket stats of every player and they can be modified too. Each cricketer face is created in a realistic way to experience a new feel.
EA’s latest cricket offering features its biggest innovation to the series so far–the Century Stick control system. As opposed to previous entries in the series, which mapped shot selection to a PlayStation 2 controller’s four face buttons, Cricket 07 uses both analog sticks for batting. The left is used for foot choice and batter placement, while the right is used to select shots and determine power. A hard pull straight down on the right analog stick, for example, will result in a fierce straight drive, while a gentle flick to the right will result in a batsman doing a leg glance.
The game has 18 international teams for you can play with but only England, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand have the official player names and kits. Blame it on EA for losing the licensing bids. Other generic teams do have player names and statistics are quite similar to real players. Or, you can always add your own players and make your own team, thanks to Cricket 07’s ‘Create a Player’ feature.
